Associate of the Law Faculties (History of Law and Institutions) in 1994, a history professor of law, and his research focuses on comparative law and institutions history, comparative constitutional history and the history of legal thought and policy. He taught at the universities of Strasbourg, Amiens and Paris Descartes before being appointed in 2002 at the University Paris II.

He leads since 2005 the Institute of History of Law and currently chairs the Department of Roman law and legal history since 2009. Internationally, in 2010-2012, Guillaume Leyte was deputy director of the Institute of European and comparative law at the University of Oxford. Considered as an expert in these fields, he is the author of several books and numerous articles on these subjects. He is a columnist for several law journals. Antoine Gaudemet is a professor of Law at the University Paris 2 Panthéon-Assas. A graduate in Law and Economics he earned his PhD from the Panthéon-Assas University in 2008 and passed the Aggregation of Law in 2009. Prior to joining Panthéon-Assas, he was a professor in Rennes. Professor Gaudemet teaches French and European corporate, financial, banking and securities law.

His current research work focuses on financial regulation, systemic risk, recovery of financial institutions, and market abuses. He is consulted on a regular basis by the French Treasury and was a member of the French delegation in charge of negotiating the Unidroit close-out netting core principles in 2013.

He is the author of The Law on Financial Derivatives (2010) which was awarded several prizes : Oscar du Droit des Sociétés et de la Bourse, Prix de l‘Association Européenne de Droit Bancaire et Financier, Prix Albert Wahl de la Chancellerie des Universités, Prix de l’Université Panthéon-Assas.

He regularly publishes articles relating to corporate, financial, banking, and securities law in both French and international reviews. She has a Master of Law (LL.M.) in Intellectual Property and Information Law from King’s College London, a Master of Law (LL.M.) in European Business Law from the Humboldt University in Berlin and a Master of Law in European and Comparative Business Law from Panthéon-Assas University in Paris.

She is a lecturer in the Diplôme d’Université “Data Protection Officer” and in the Diplôme d’Université “Droit des Technologies du Numérique” for the Panthéon-Assas University in Paris. She also gives TechLaw lectures in HEC Paris which is widely regarded as one of the most prestigious and selective business schools in the world.

Prior to taking the Bar exam, Julie acquired experience in the IP/IT department other law firms in Paris and Berlin.
